What we are studying
The Alzheimer’s Disease Prevention Participant Repository is an observational study that will be used to identify and characterize early risk factors that predict memory decline and dementia in adults with or without early signs of memory impairment. Data will be collected for this study at enrollment and then every 1-2 years thereafter. The data collected will help examine changes in cognitive function, and brain structure and function in older adults with and without a parental family history of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). We will also study how the body processes sugar, and how that may relate to change in brain function over time. The information collected will be stored indefinitely for future analyses.
