What may seem like science fiction is happening right here at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine. We are an international leader in translating scientific discovery into clinical therapies.

Our scientists were the first in the world to successfully implant a laboratory-grown organ into humans and today are working to grow more than 22 different organs and tissues in the laboratory. Read about our other “firsts.”

The Regenerative Medicine Foundation has announced the first annual Translational Regenerative Medicine Forum to be held April 6-8, 2010 at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem. The forum seeks to advance the field of regenerative medicine and health care innovation through the sharing of scientific discoveries, clinical and corporate best practices and business models.
