The treatment of brain and spinal arteriovenous malformations at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center is a collaborative effort between the Departments of Neurosurgery, Neuro-radiology, and Radiation Oncology. Surgical treatments including pre-operative endovascular embolization, image-guided craniotomy, and stereotactic radiosurgery (Gamma Knife) are special areas of expertise in the Brain Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) Center. Arteriovenous malformation (AVM) ReferralsPhysicians may refer patients to the Brain Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) Center by contacting the Physicians Access Line at any time or by contacting the offices of any of the Center members listed below.
