WFUBMC is the Start! sponsor of this year’s Tanglewood Heart & Stroke Walk on Oct. 17.

To join a WFUBMC team or create one, go to starttanglewoodnc.org/wfubmc.

The Medical Center’s fundraising goal for the walk is $100,000, and we need 120 team captains.

The walk raises crucial dollars for education and research for cardiovascular disease and stroke. The Medical Center receives over $2 million in grants from the American Heart Association each year.
