Lipoprotein Analytic Laboratory

Laboratory Purpose:

To provide analytical and quantitative measurements of lipid and lipoprotein endpoints for non-diagnostic investigational purposes.

Capabilities:
  • Apolipoprotein AI, AII, B, E, and Lp(a) quantitation by ELISA
  • HDL subfraction analysis by GGE
  • Lipoprotein fractionation and estimation of LDL particle size by HPLC
  • Lipoprotein-cholesterol distribution determination
  • Fatty acid analysis by GLC
  • Cholesterol and plant sterol quantitation by GLC
  • Lipoprotein distribution and quantitation by NMR
