John Petty, M.D., a pediatric surgeon at Brenner Children’s Hospital, will perform a surgical repair of a rare birth defect, called esophageal atresia and tracheoesophageal fistula, that will be broadcast at 5 p.m., on Thursday, March 11 over the internet. The patient is a nine week old premature infant.
A two-day radiothon on WMAG-FM, 99.5, raised more than $77,000 for Brenner Children’s Hospital at WFUBMC.
WMAG-FM, 99.5, will broadcast a two-day radiothon to benefit Brenner Children’s Hospital, part of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 18 and 19.
Quality Oil Company donated $25,000 to the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma at WFUBMC. The money was raised during its 80th anniversary celebration in November.
