Neurology Residency Program

About the Program

The residency program is designed to provide a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient clinical exposures, and to supplement this with a broad-based, didactic educational experience. The details of the clinical curriculum can be found in the residency curriculum database, which contains detailed goals and objectives for each rotation.

Mission

The primary mission of the Neurology Residency training program at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center is to train outstanding clinical neurologists with the ultimate goal to provide physicians of the highest quality to provide neurological care to people in need. A secondary goal is to identify and nurture potential clinician-researchers and clinician-educators to become the next generation of academic physicians to educate future doctors-in-training and carry on the clinical research that is vital to the ongoing improvement of health care in the United States.
