TSI Program
Translational Science Institute Scholars Program
2010 TSI Brochure and Application
The Wake Forest University Translational Science Institute fosters advances in human health by recruiting, educating and nurturing health professionals and researchers in different disciplines.
We envision a generation of researchers who have strong content expertise in their chosen areas of methodology or science and the multidisciplinary perspective required to apply their knowledge and expertise to the collaborative opportunities presented by the multidimensional, complex biological, environmental, social, and political influences on population health. Our programs instill understanding of a common language of scientific discovery and key skills in team science. We believe that scientists whose disciplinary expertise is complemented by training in multidisciplinary team science will contribute greatly to the rapid translation of new knowledge into improvements in populationhealth.
Highly competitive undergraduate students will be chosen from among applicants to participate in a translational research experience with established teams of TSI investigators in the summer of 2010.
TSI sponsorship includes travel, lodging, and stipends.
