Summer Research Projects for Undergraduates
Rising undergraduate junior and senior science majors may participate in research performed at the Wake Forest University Graduate School through the SROP.
During the 8-week experience, students will be exposed to basic lab techniques, technology used in biomedical research, data collection procedures, and rules of documentation.

Sean D. Reid, PhD, Research opportunities are available to study the extracellular pathogen
Streptococcus pyogenes. Areas of focus include studying how
S. pyogenes evades the host immune response and how it colonizes the host mucosa.
