Research Activities

Comparative Medicine's investigators are engaged in ongoing research using animal models of human disease in atherosclerosis, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, nutrition, reproductive health, hormone replacement therapy, primate biology and behavior, behavioral issues in chronic diseases, and the physiological effects of soy proteins.

There is a weekly Seminar/Research Update presentation Thursday at 11 am at the Primate Center.

Comparative Medicine offers a number of training opportunities, including residencies and fellowships as well as a master's degree program.
