Office of Technology Asset Management (OTAM)
OTAM’s Vision
To improve the health and well-being of all people by facilitating the creation of new products and services from the inventions and discoveries of our faculty, staff and students.
OTAM’s Mission
To maximize the value of Wake Forest University’s and Wake Forest University School of Medicine's intellectual assets through the creation of novel and effective models for commercializing technology.
We pursue our mission by working closely with university faculty, students and staff to identify and develop novel inventions and to create intellectual property that can be licensed to existing companies or form the basis of new businesses. In addition, OTAM fosters strategic collaborations with industry, community leaders, scientists, investors, entrepreneurs and many others to accomplish our commercialization objectives.
