The Digestive Health Center at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center opened in February, 2004. The new facility features streamlined scheduling procedures, an expanded gastrointestinal surgery staff, and reduced waiting times for elective procedures -- as well as state-of-the art gastrointestinal surgery equipment and increased patient privacy.
