Breast Cancer Research Foundation of the Triad
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation of the Triad (BCRFT) was established in 1996 by Carolyn Myers, a breast cancer survivor. All proceeds from BCRFT are given directly to the Comprehensive Cancer Center to conduct research and, ultimately, find a cure for cancer.

Brian Piccolo Cancer Fund Drive
The Brian Piccolo Cancer Fund Drive was established by Wake Forest University students in 1980 in memory of the great WFU alumnus and Chicago Bear football star who died of cancer. For nearly 3 decades, WFU students have planned and participated in numerous events to raise funds for cancer research.

Friends for an Earlier Breast Cancer Test
The single mission of Friends for an Earlier Breast Cancer Test is to support new, innovative research to identify a biological test that would identify the presence of breast cancer far earlier than is now possible. The organization was established in 1995 by Martha Kaley, a breast cancer survivor with a passion for finding a new method to detect pre-tumor breast cancer.

Golfers Against Cancer (Triad Region)
Golfers Against Cancer (GAC) was founded to show support for 2 golfers at a country club in Texas who were diagnosed with cancer. The organization has grown nationally, with a chapter in the Triad area. The mission of GAC is to raise funds for cancer research to honor friends battling cancer.
