Dr. Marnie Marlette is a board certified family practitioner who comes to us with over fourteen years experience in private practice. She earned her bachelor's degree, majoring in Chemistry, with a minor in Spanish, from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. She received her medical doctorate from Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC and completed her family practice residency at North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Dr. Marlette believes that listening is an integral part of healthcare and listens carefully to her patients. She also believes that medical decisions are a joint effort between patient and provider. Understanding a patient's goals, and personal preferences, she incorporates sound medical knowledge with patient education to promote good health and exceptional quality healthcare.
Dr. Marlette is married and has twin sons. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family, water skiing, skeet, sewing, and scrap booking.
James Irion, MD
Dr. Irion's understanding of health care is extremely well-rounded. Prior to completing his medical doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill he earned a master's in public health, completed pharmacy school and physician assistant studies. Before joining Community Physicians, he worked as a pharmacist, physician assistant, and as a nursing home medical director. He is board-certified in family medicine. His professional interests include preventive medicine, diabetes and geriatrics. By listening to his patients and addressing their specific concerns, he helps educate them to maintain good health.
The father of four, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing tennis.

Michael Harris, PA-C
Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. He completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from East Carolina University in Greenville NC. Michael is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Treating patients is something he has a passion for. He enjoys getting to know the patients and families that he treats. Michael believes understanding patients by listening to and addressing their concerns, along with sound medical decision making improves healthcare and outcomes. He enjoys treating patients of all ages and has a special interest in preventative medicine, hypertension, and lipid management.
