Compare Two Medications in Those who have Recently had a Stroke

What we are studying

The purpose of the study is to compare the effectiveness of a new drug to Aspirin for the prevention of death, heart attacks, and future strokes in patients who have had an acute stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) within the last 24 hours.

    • American Indian or Alaska Native
    • Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander
    • Other
  • All Ethnicities
  • Ages 18+

Eligibility Criteria

  • Acute stroke or transient ischemic attack within 24 hours

What is involved

  • 4 month time commitment
