What we are studying
This study is collecting information from a machine called a Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) that takes pictures of the brain while a person is performing a task. The test is called a functional MRI because of the task involved. MRI is known to be safe and does not use X-rays. We hope this information may help us understand what parts of the brain is causing unwanted thoughts and behaviors often felt by those who have Parkinson's Disease.
We are including people with and without obsessions and compulsions so that we can compare the brains of both types of people.
