Lung Injury Prediction Score - Aspirin Study

What we are studying

The main purpose of this study is to test the preventive effect of Aspirin on the syndrome ALI.

Who we are studying

  • Men and Women
  • Races:
    • White
    • African American
    • Asian
    • American Indian or Alaska Native
    • Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander
    • Other
  • All Ethnicities
  • Ages 18+

Eligibility Criteria

  • Admitted to the ED at WFBMC
  • Elevated risk for developing acute lung injury

What is involved

  • Study involvement will last about 12 months
  • Most study procedures will occur while in the hospital
  • Follow-Up phone calls at 1; 6 and 12 months
