Action to Control Cardiovascular Risk in Diabetes Follow-On Study (ACCORDION)

What we are studying

This is a follow-up study from the Action to Control Cardiovascular Risk in Diabetes (ACCORD) study, which will follow you for 3 1/2 years to determine if the effects of the ACCORD treatments change over time.

Ages 40 - 79

Eligibility Criteria

Must have participated in the ACCORD study to qualify

What is involved

3 clinic visits
4 follow-up phone calls

Compensation:

$35 for each clinic visit attended in person (up to $105 if you attend all 3),$10 for each clinic visit done over the phone (up to $30 if you complete all 3 over the phone),in addition you will receive $10 for each phone visit that happens between clinic visits (up to $40 total for the phone visits)
